AUTHOR of Salvation
Hebrews 2:10 states: It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many children to glory, should make the Author of their Salvation perfect through sufferings.
This long-term project is an exploration of the four Gospels through 16 original drawings. Each Gospel tells the same story through their own unique lenses, each highlighting different aspects and truths about The Lord Jesus Christ. The Good News according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John highlight Jesus: The promised Messiah and King, The Suffering Servant, The Compassionate Savior, and The Divine Son of God, respectively. Four drawings will be dedicated to each of the Gospels, which will work together to show the purpose each author had in writing their Gospels. My goal is to illustrate familiar biblical events through an artistic interpretation full of emotion rather than a presentation of historical documentation. My hope for this series is to reach believers and non believers to cause introspection and encourage a deeper reverence or curiosity for The Lord.
And for those of you who don't know- When God created the world, He warned Adam of knowledge he'd regret finding. Through one decision, chaos, sin and death entered the world. Whether big or small, all sin leads to eternal separation from God. But He knew we would rebel. So He came down to us, lived a sinless life and suffered the worst death in human history to pay the debt we owe. All He asks in return is to put your faith and trust in Him.
